Pink Flamingo Fridays

Inspired by other neighborhoods in Morris County and across the country, we’re going to try a new kind of “meet your neighbors”/”celebrate the weekend” event. Introducing: Pink Flamingo Fridays! Here’s how it works. Once the weather gets warmer and the days get longer, be on the lookout for a pink flamingo posted prominently in a neighbor’s yard. If you see one, those neighbors have volunteered to host a casual, BYO drinks /chairs get-together in their driveway or front yard. (Usually Fridays from 6:30 - 8 p.m., but entirely up to the host.) The WHNA will track down some used pink flamingos, so all you have to do to host a Flamingo Friday is email WHNAmail@gmail.com to arrange for a loaner. See you this spring in a driveway!
